Respected Industry Veteran Loren McDonald Joins Silverpop
ATLANTA, January 22, 2008 – Silverpop CEO Bill Nussey today announced the addition of veteran email marketing executive Loren McDonald to the company's senior executive team. Nussey said the addition of McDonald further underscores the ability of Silverpop to continually attract the very best talent in the industry, and further solidifies its position as email marketing's thought capital leader.
McDonald will serve as vice president of industry relations for Silverpop, driving the company's portfolio of industry leadership activities and continuing its rich tradition of disseminating best practices to the market. Working with the Silverpop team, McDonald will share with marketers new ways to fully engage with customers and prospects.

McDonald comes to Silverpop with 24 years of experience in marketing, consulting and strategic planning. Previously, he was vice president of corporate communications at Lyris, Inc., and had served as vice president of marketing at EmailLabs. McDonald was founder and president of Intevation, an e-marketing services firm specializing in email and search engine marketing services. He's held executive marketing positions at companies including USWeb/CKS, NetStruxr and Arthur Andersen.
